Box set containing five movies from award-winning writer/director Quentin Tarantino. 'Reservoir Dogs' (1992) takes a shocking and funny look at the aftermath of a jewellery robbery which has gone violently wrong. Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth and Steve Buscemi are amongst the stars making up the team of robbers - Mr Orange, Mr Blue, Mr Pink, Mr White - who meet at a warehouse after the failed heist and attempt to work out who is to blame. Includes the famous ear-cutting scene and a classic 1970s soundtrack. In 'Pulp Fiction' (1994) Butch (Bruce Willis) is an over-the-hill boxer paid to take a fall, who instead does a runner with mobster Merselius's (Ving Rhames) money. Meanwhile, Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winfield (Samuel L. Jackson) are two hitmen who aren't having the easiest of mornings, and Pumpkin and Honey Bunny (Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer) are two would-be bank robbers who are planning a heist in a restaurant. In 'Jackie Brown' (1997), air stewardess Jackie Brown (Pam Grier) also smuggles money on the side for gunrunner Ordell Robbie (Samuel L. Jackson). When she is caught with $50,000 and a consignment of cocaine, she makes a deal with Ordell: if convicted, she will not shop him as long as he pays her $100,000. Meanwhile Jackie also makes a deal with the cops, promising to help convict Ordell, and enlists the help of bail bond man Max Cherry (Oscar-nominated Robert Forster) in a daring attempt to outwit both the police and Ordell. In 'Kill Bill - Volume 1' (2003), Uma Thurman stars as The Bride, one-fifth of a team of assassins called DiVAS. When she decides to get married and leave the outfit her boss, Bill (David Carradine), is not a happy man and gets her former colleagues to show up at the wedding; leaving behind a blood bath and The Bride shot in the head. Four years later, The Bride sets out on a journey of revenge which is ultimately to kill her former boss, Bill. The film was due to be three hours long but was split into two films (hence the name) and Volume 2 concludes the story. In 'Kill Bill - Volume 2' (2004), having dispensed with former colleagues O-Ren Ishii and Vernita Green in the first volume, The Bride (Thurman) resumes her quest for justice in this second installment of Tarantino's jaw-droppingly violent homage to action films from both East and West. The Bride now has two remaining foes on her 'Death List', Budd (Michael Madsen) and Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah) - before she moves on to her ultimate goal - to kill Bill (Carradine).
