Description: A lovely English Antique George III solid sterling silver table candle snuffer tray of a elongated rectangular form with a rope shaped border and has a lovely plain body which hasn't been hand engraved with any presentation inscriptions, initials, monograms or family crest marks. Excellent clean quality for its 225 years of age from the King George III period and its of an excellent very useable size which weighs 133 grams of solid sterling silver. Would make an excellent fine addition to anyones collection or is ready to be used for its purpose it was made for. A superb clean example.

Measurements: Length 23.2 cm, Width 9.2 cm and Height 2 cm
Condition report: Excellent condition for its 225 years of age but does have some age related small dings to the surface which has to be expected with age and use. But has no nasty dents, holes, splits or repairs. Borders are all in perfect shape and stands well on display with no wobble. The English solid sterling silver hallmarks to the back of the body are mostly all very readable but the makers mark is rubbed. A lovely George III example which is ready to be used for its purpose. A lovely example from the George III period.
