Reluctantly for sale is my 1979 Chevrolet G10 Shorty. It has an LT1 engine and gearbox from a 1994 caprice, hooker headers, power flow exhaust. Sound ace!

It was originally imported by Driftworks back in 2018 and they put a few touches on it including fitting M3 cabriolet seats on a box frame, diamond racing wheels on the back and slamming it! Original patina n the paintwork other than front wings (had to be replaced).

Since my ownership, it has had Cragar D windows and new Toyo tyres up front, new tie rods, ball joints, poly bush kit up front, fuel lines, full wiring loom, air over shocks on the rear, spring assisted shocks on the front and new front wings.

I have also changed the logbook to historic so tax is free and insurance is about £150. No MOT needed.

There are things that want doing depending on what your vision of perfect is. Personally, it’s not far from finished in my opinion. It wants a bit of an enclosure building to enclose the space between the seats, I’ve just had no time to sort it. I’ve got a front anti roll bar to be fitted with brand new poly bush kit. The leaf springs are noisy, I’ve got new bushes to go in which will come with it. There’s a box of bits to go with it in fairness.

I love this van to bits, I just can’t keep everything! Need to fund a new family car I’m afraid so this has to go. Proper individual thing though, the new owner will be smiling at it that’s for sure!

No it hasn’t got air con before I get asked that one again. It’s fairly basic but you can fit any kind of add ons fairly cheaply.
