This is a 1916-S semi-key date Buffalo Nickel, that has gone through a holo-restorative process over the entire coin. These originally dateless buffalo nickels have been acid restored to bring back many of the details from the striking process, including the date, mint mark, lettering and horn and other details. The process is slow to restore these nickels but results in a more even overall appearance as well as revealing more of the original striking details. It is a great way to obtain semi-key and key date buffalo nickels at a more reasonable price and fill the more difficult holes in your collection.

You will receive the coin in the photographs.

As with any acid restored date buffalo nickel sometimes they need to be lit from the right angle to see some of the restored details.
