This is a Vintage Case XX 1994 Model #730055 3 Blade Folding Pocketknife with Peacock Colored Scales. The knife is pre-owned and was allowed to get to a lot of moisture leading to rust. The active rust has been cleaned off but there is some left over signs of where the rust had been. The knife looks basically unused and unsharpened, just not maintained at all. Look at the photos very carefully because the former rusted areas will not be a reason for return or refund. This might not be a display piece, but it is a good working knife for daily use. The price has already been adjusted down for the condition.
Features:
1. This is a 3 blade Case XX 1994 Model #730055 folding pocketknife.
2. 2-1/4" High Sheen Carbon Steel master blade which is a Wharncliffe style; 1-1/2" #2 & #3 blades; all blades have remains of former rust (see photos).
3. Brass side liners; shiny bolsters; one bolster has a small amount of darkening as a result of moisture (see photos).
4. 3-3/8" overall length closed.
5. Peacock colored composite scales (see photos). The scales have a scratch or two on the front (so minor they won't show up in the photos) and a ding around a couple of the pins.
6. Master Blade tang says, "Case Bradford PA 19 USA 94" on the front and on the rear "Tested XX 730055".
7. No original box supplied; no papers; no sheath supplied.
8. The blades have not been sharpened and not used, just not maintained (see photos).
9. The blades have no wobble and all the snap opening and closing that they came with.
Note: The knife has been wiped down with a clean, soft, dry cloth after some rust was removed but we did not attempt to remove all patina, further cleaning will be left to the purchaser. Any defects we noticed were listed, but we do not assign a level of condition. You must see all of the photos which are considered a part of this description (use the eBay zoom-in tool), and make your own decision regarding blade and handle conditions; ask questions for anything you see or don't see before you decide to purchase the knife, because once shipped, the knife cannot be returned or refunded even for any wear from opening/closing or handling and moving around and any rust residue on this mostly unused knife.
