All original – Gay Toys Inc - Tandem or Dual Axel Dump Truck – Blue / Red / Black

This interactive 1960's Dump truck features - 6 Black Wheels that roll - Dump Body Lifts up and Dumps  

Gay Toys Inc., now known as American Plastic Toys, Inc., released a dump truck in 1962. The dump truck is a 8 Inches long 3-1/2” Tall and 3-1/4” wide - this plastic toy is highly sought after by collectors of vintage plastic toys, dime store toys, and dump trucks.

However, few collectors have the toy because most were given to children.

The Littleton and Yoquelet families founded Gay Toys Inc. in Walled Lake, Michigan in 1962, and the company produced plastic toys for dime stores.  In 1986, the company changed its name to American Plastic Toys.
