Here's that 70's look that froze in time when Trader Joe's adopted it's quasi-Victorian packaging and catalogs.   When Cody's Bookstore closed quite a few years ago, an interesting collection of ephemera was found in a corner office. Here are a few items from that box, projects Fred Cody conducted at some point in Cody's long history between 1956 and 2008 in Berkeley's tumultous history. Except for the poetry booklet, it appears that the items date from 1971.

1. Booklet - Checklists of separate publications of poets at the First Berkeley Poetry Conference 1965.
 2. Poster. Chaucer - Spring Broadside. Probably "The Growing Time" w/ prospectus Spring 1971.
 3. Advert flyer - [1970] Mentions street widening and new Berkeley Art Museum.
 4. Advert flyer - A Concert of English Music 1550-1650. No date. School of Orpheus.
 5. Advert flyer - A Concert & Art Sale - School of Orpheus - A Concert & Art Sale.
