This auction is for a nice aqua scarce 10 oz blue marble codd BCD PERTH AERATED WATER & BOTTLING CO LTD from West Australia.
These blue marble bottles were made to attract children to buy them as a novelty due to the colour of the marble.
The experiment was shortlived for the children tended to smash the bottle to get the impressive blue marble and this cost the company as it was expensive to have to order a replacement bottle. The firms stopped ordering codd bottles with coloured marbles as a result.
They are hard to find now because not alot were made and most were broken by children once sold.
The bottle is in good unpolished condition with just minor stain, and some crate wear to some letters, but no chips, repairs or cracks.
It is approx 240 mm high.

The bottle has not been retouched or repaired based on inspection before sale.

Postage is via a medium post
office satchel and the bottle is boxed and bubble wrapped for protection. Additional purchases
that total under 5kg and fit inside the satchel attract no extra postage.
