These items have had a life before eBay and are in pre-owned / used condition. They might or might not show signs of wear from previous use and play. That might include, but is not limited to rub/scuff marks, scratches, wear on stickers and things of that nature. Please see details for anything more than normal wear and tear. They may or may not need wiped down from play and storage.
Vintage 1978 first communion dress. German / European size 110, which compares to approx. a size 6 or 7. The faux fur over-coat / jacket is size 134, which would compare approx. to size 8. PLEASE SEE ALL OF THE MEASUREMENTS PROVIDED BEFORE PURCHASE TO MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT FIT! Also comes with a veil, pair of gloves, a small pouch / purse and a sleeve for over the candle. Old picture shows what it looks like when worn.
The dress measures approx. 43" in length, approx. 12" at the waist and approx. 13" across armpit to armpit. It is made of sheer / lace, it is lined, ruffled and has either long or 3/4 length "bat' sleeves. Removable sheer tie "belt", 17" zipper in the rear plus a small metal fastener closure. It does have an old dry cleaning tag attached, but due to age and storage it is wrinkled and would need some TLC. The dress is white, but the lace bands and chest area that used to be ivory/off-white have yellowed over time.
The short style ivory faux fur over coat / jacket with long sleeves measures approx. 13" flat across armpit to armpit and approx. 12" in length. 2 small buttons closure at top, lined. Yellowed over time.
The veil with comb fastener gives this dress the "bride" look. Matches the ruffled dress. Shows very minor yellowing. White gloves show some minor smudges, but I have not tried to clean them and it might come out when washed. The small pouch shows some minor yellowing and it is supposed to hold a white handkerchief (I will include it, but not shown in pictures). The candle "sleeve" has some very minor white candle wax splatter, minor yellowing and one of the flowers came loose.
All of the items are in vintage / pre-owned and worn / used condition.
