BARRY BONDS PURE SILVER COMMEMORATIVE COIN.

Barry, born in 1964 is considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He starred with Pittsburgh from 1986 to 1992, and finished his career in 2007 with San Francisco. At one time he was in such a zone hitting that he was intentionally walked all 4 times at bat, and still holds the record for most walks in a career. He received 7 MVP awards, 12 Silver Slugger Awards and 14 All Star selections. He also garnered other awards such as the Golden Glove and holds many other player records. Most notably he holds the single season record for home runs at 73, and all time with 762.

Despite all his accomplishments he did not receive the 75% vote needed in his 10 years of eligibility to get into the Baseball Hall of Fame. This was because he became a central figure in baseball's steroid scandal. He was later cleared of the charges and to this day remains one of the most feared sluggers in baseball history.

This gilded licensed and limited produced commemorative coin (1 of only 1,500) pays tribute to Barry's many accomplishments in his storied career, in this case his 700th home run. It is in near perfect condition, comes in a display box with the COA. A great addition to any baseball fans collection. Thanks for looking.
