Books are all hardcover with green cloth boards with gilt title on the front and spine.
Books are clean with very light wear.
Volume 8 is a clamshell case for the maps, there are 54 maps, each map is numbered, all are folded and intact.
Illustrations are all bright and clear, minimal signs of wear, no writing or marks that I saw.
