This is a listing of Three (3) Vintage Writing Instruments.  A small Ladies Dip Fountain Pen, a Clear Dark Emerald Green Ink Well and a Black Ceramic Elephant Ink Blotter.  Item # 307.

DESCRIPTION:  Ladies Dip Fountain Pen.

AGE:  Vintage.  Approximately 1900’s or earlier.

SIZE:  The fountain pen is 4 9/16 inches (4 9/16") in length.  The pink portion of the body including the metal ring is 1.75 inches (1 3/4") in length.  The black portion of the body is 2 3/8 inches (2 3/8") in length.  The nib is 9/16 inches (9/16") in length and approximately 3/16 inches (3/16") wide.  The widest portion of the body is the pink plastic which is 5/16 inches (5/16") wide.  All measurement are approximate.                                                                                                           

BODY:  The fountain pen's body is made up of two sections.  The pink section appears to be a shiny plastic-like material (not sure what this material is).  The black portion of the body appears to be wood with a black enamel finish.  Between the two sections is a metal ring which appears to be silver in color.  No name or marking on the body of the pen.

NIB:  The nib is approximately 9/16 inches in length and approximately 3/16 inches wide.  The nib is marked, "14K GOLD PLATE".  This is the only marking I have been able ot locate on the nib.

STYLE:  This is the type that is dipped into the ink well.  There isn't a reservoir for ink in this style of pen.

DESCRIPTION:  Vintage Clear Glass Dark Emerald Green Ink Well

SIZE:  The Ink Well Green measures 2 3/8 inches (2 3/8”) by 2 3/8 inches (2 3/8”) by 1.75 inches (1 ¾”) high.  Measurement of height with medal cap is 2 5/8 inches (2 5/8”).

BODY:  The Body is with square (2 3/8” X 2 3/8”).  The upper edges on the top side are tapered.

CAP:  Has a hinged metal Cap.  The Cap is 1.75 inches (1 ¾”) in diameter.

WELL OPENING:  The Ink Well opening is 1 1/8 inches (1 1/8”) in diameter.  The Ink Well depth is 1.5 inches (1 ½”).

WEIGHT:  The Ink Well weight is 15 ounces (15oz.)

CONDITION:  The metal cap is beginning to lose its chrome finish.  The Glass Ink Well is in perfect condition without any damage.  No breaks, no chips or cracks.

DESCRIPTION:  Vintage Black Ceramic Ink Blotter in the shape of an Elephant.

SIZE:  The Ink Blotter is 3.5 inches (3 ½”) in length by 1.75 inches (1 ¾”) wide by 2 inches (2”) in height.  Has a blotting area of 1.75 inches (1 ¾”) by 4 inches (4”).

HALLMARK:  The edge of the curved part of the Blotter is hallmarked “THE W-31”.

CONDITION:  Excellent perfect condition.  Needs a new paper blotter,  No breaks, chips or cracks.
