Additional Comments:

If you have driven through the Southwest at dusk, you will see several similar views of adobes. As the evening begins to set, these historic dwellings emit a unique mood. Many have historical pasts, but only a few are documented. The author of this painting did a marvelous job of capturing the mood and atmosphere of one of these adobes at the beginning of a winter's evening.

The author of this painting is R. Sargent. Richard or Robert Sargent may have done it, but I am not sure. This painting is worth further research based on style, quality, and age.

Good Luck!

eBay SHIPPING POLICY:

If you find a discrepancy between eBay's estimate and your invoiced shipping cost, please let me know before bidding. All packages are properly and professionally packed, as well as insured. Therefore, I always only charge the actual shipping cost or less and never charge for handling, materials, or the cost of bringing it to the shipper.

Please read all the information below regarding the auction terms, and I look forward to providing you with the best customer service possible.

OTHER INFORMATION:

I try to provide the best customer service possible. Please ask all questions before bidding and bid responsibly.

The winning bidder will receive everything described in the item's description. Therefore, please do not expect anything that is not described in the auction.

Due to the quality of the art, I do not risk damaging paintings by taking them off their stretcher (or liner) and rolling them up, as these are not new paintings.

Shipping

SHIPPING & INSURANCE COSTS:

Service: USPS Priority Mail or FedEx / UPS Ground. Any item that sells for over $100 must be sent with a signature required.

Shipping Address: I can only ship to the address listed on your eBay check-out invoice.

If you have a special address that your item needs to be shipped to, it must be reflected on the eBay shipping address. EBay Seller Protection Policy does not protect me if I ship to an address not reflected in the eBay system.

Estimated delivery: 3-10 business days after the seller receives cleared payment. The estimated delivery time is based on the handling time, selected shipping service, and when I receive the cleared payment. We are not responsible for shipping service transit times. Therefore, transit times may vary, particularly during peak periods.

I do not make money on shipping. However, I try my hardest to charge accurate shipping costs and to properly and professionally pack every item I ship!

I can use other carriers upon request. However, other carriers and services may be more expensive, and the buyer assumes all responsibility for the extra cost. I will gladly combine shipping if you win more than one auction that can safely be shipped together.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: The auction's shipping calculator is an estimate; actual charges will be determined at each auction's close. The winning bidder is responsible for any brokerage and customs fees upon delivery.

I always appreciate your business, but U.S. law states that I must declare the actual value of any item I sell on the customs forms. This is illegal and is against eBay’s policies. All items that sell for over $200 are sent via USPS Priority Int'l Express Mail. If you are an international bidder, please contact me for a shipping quote before bidding.

Returns:

Please contact me if you have questions about an item before leaving a Feedback & DSR Star Rating! Everything I know about my items is described in the auction.

If an item has been broken during shipment, please let me know within 24 hours of receiving the item. I keep detailed digital photographs of all items sold and use third-party verification.

If there is shipping damage, the winning bidder will need to hold onto all of the packing materials and must wait for the outcome of the shipper's (FedEx / UPS /USPS) inspection before receiving any money.

I use the highest quality packing materials & pack beyond FedEx / UPS / USPS standards. However, if there is damage during shipping, a return will require the buyer to forfeit the item to the postal carrier or return it to the seller at the seller's cost.

If you have changed your mind, no returns will be accepted nor refunds issued even if you pay for the return shipping.

Miscellaneous:

The frame included in the auction is described as having a frame. However, since some frames have pre-existing damage (damage will be described in the auction), please consider all the frames in the auctions as a free extra gift.
