This is a Medium / Small Size Burnished Black pottery Heart Shaped Box made in San Bartolo Coyotepec in Oaxaca.  San Bartolo is famous for its Black Pottery and this is a lovely example of the pottery from this area.   This box is all handmade and hand burnished to a lovely satin Finish.   What a great gift he would make for the the one you Love or a wonderful addition to your own Mexican folk Art Collection.   

It measures 4 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches deep.
