The underwires are covered by the two front panels which flow from the centre upward seam of the cups down to the bottom, there is a vertical central seam all the way down, from between the cups. The rose-covered fabric of these front panels extends outwards to the side seams where they join the two back panels of plain but sparkly pink fabric, with two seams on each side of the central back fastening of twelve double rows of pink metal hooks and eyes on pink fabric. The wings and back are unlined but are very soft against the skin.
Inside the cups are lined with pink fabric. There is hidden under band of medium pink flat elastic and the section between the cups and out to the wings, are lined inside with pink, lightly padded, fabric, to help the bra part stay in place and support the bust well. Between the under band and the bottom of the front rose covered panels, there is a lining of pink mesh to help give body to the flat roses on the outside and also to ensure that inside all the sewing is covered and the lining is soft against the skin.
Across the top and bottom of the wings and back the fabric is turned in and secured to the inner, narrow flat pink elastic with fine zig-zag stitching. A delicate fringe of pleated pink organza peeps out from under the fabric of the wings and back, and also the under arm section of the cups.
STRAPS
The front straps are formed of pink elastic with a satin sheen which shows from under the tiny pink organza leaves and the tiny matte pink crochet'd loops which alternate with the leaves as they wend their way up the front straps. Over the shoulders they are looped through a pink metal ring. The back straps of plain pink elastic with a satin sheen, are looped through the same pink ring and they adjust downwards from this top ring. At the bottom the back straps are sewn to the inside top of the back elastic which edges the top of the back panel.
SUSPENDERS
The four detachable suspenders have pink metal hooks at the top with double teeth these loop through pink elastic loops sewn to the pink elastic edging the inside of the bottom of the bustier. The suspenders are in bands of flat pink elastic covered with pleated pink organza which is sewn to the edges of the elastic and fans outwards, forming a sheer fringe over both sides of the suspenders. This fringe mirrors the organza fringe at the back top and bottom of the bustier. The suspender clips are in pink metal with a translucent button inside. They adjust in length with a pink metal butterfly slider. Pink satin ribbons cover the back and front of each suspender clip, cut on the diagonal at the bottom.
The fabric is 54%Polyamide, 29%Polyester, 9%Elastane, 8%Polyurethane and please machine or hand wash at 30 degrees. Use no iron, no dry cleaning, tumble drying or bleach. New and unused. Made in France. The retail price was £143.00
