This paperweight is signed " GS A/P 1-1 93" indicating that Gary Scrutton made it as an Artist Proof experimental design.

 

 Since the closing of Parabelle Glass these outstanding millefiori weights are becoming harder and harder to find.  This "Artist Proof" Paperweight has a three-flower bouquet of one Pink flower, one Blue flower, and one Red flower, set with stems and Green leaves.  The stems and leaves are textured and have Gold Aventurine flecks.  The design rests on a dark opaque Maroon over White ground.  A torsade of complex White millefiori canes completes the design.  The weight is 2-7/8" in diameter and 1-7/8" high.  Condition is perfect.
