Aimed at the straw mesh trading company Isler & Bruggisser in Wohlen (AG) in Switzerland; written by a member of the Bruggisser family (PL Bruggisser), who is on a business trip in Berlin. The letter also contains only business matters.


At the author it iscertainly around Peter Leonz Bruggisser (1817-1844), junior partner of the firm.
