A very nice unidentified piece of a Dornier 17 shot down on 15th September 1940 and crashing at Underriver near Sevenoaks, Kent. With some paintwork still present and the main screw thread still turning freely, the original identification tag is still attached.

Attacked by multiple fighters, its destruction was credited to Sgt Tyrer of 46 Squadron and F/Lt Pete Brothers of 257 Squadron, one of the Dornier crew was killed in the crash and the other three were taken POW. Included is a photo of the entry for this incident in 'Then and Now'.

A great piece of Battle of Britain history, all items are sent tracked usually by Royal Mail.
