This is a classic Santa Barbara style bit is set up with a medium leverage mouthpiece. The way it is designed helps to keep the bit in a neutral position when you're working and give the horse a quick release whenever you let the pressure off of the reins.
The bit cheeks feature beautiful hand-engraved German silver overlay on a stainless steel base, and mouthpiece is made from sweet iron with copper roller bars. The copper roller bars on the mouthpiece will add about 20% more "feel" than the same mouthpiece would have without them.
In the Performax line it is considered to be Leverage 2 (Medium)/Mouth power 2 (Medium)
