The measurements given in the drop down menu at the top of this page are taken around the circumference of the nose just below the ends of the cheekbones. It is best to do this with a piece of string and then measure the string afterwards. If you think your horse may need a custom made halter then please contact me in regards to taking another two measurements.

This is a well balanced halter with attention to detail. It is made from a top quality 6.3mm polyester double braid yachting rope. The type of rope used by instructors of Natural Horsemanship methods.
Using the correct double overhand knots and a fiador knot under the jaw, these halters give great results. Each one is individually made to order, so if your horse does not fall into any of the size categories and needs an in-between size then that is no problem. Just contact me and I can make a halter to fit perfectly.
These halters are also great for leading strong or bargy horses and also for trailer loading.
All halters come packaged with instructions.
