Garmin has some of the nicest GPS units in the business, but a lot of the worst mounts.

Here is the answer and the best alternative. This is a RAM mount that fits Garmin 795 & 796 as well as Aera 500, 510, 550 and 560 series units.

It does the same job as our standard suction cup mount for these except that it has an extended bracket to get the GPS farther away from the windshield and closer to you.

Rugged suction cup attaches to windshield, side window, or other non-porous surface. It consists of a double socket arm, 3.25" suction cup twist lock base and an extended bracket adapter that will attach directly to the Garmin factory supplied "Aviation Mount with Power Cable and Audio Jack." (You MUST have that piece for these to work!)

See third photo above - the flat bracket that is included with this mount goes IN PLACE of the round base with 1" ball shown & bolts onto the piece in the person's hand.

Rotates through 360 degrees for optimum positioning.

This item DOES NOT work with the small snap-in ball mounts supplied by Garmin with some of these units. We have them also though - please check the other listings in our Ebay store in this category or message us for more information.
