Description

This colour postcard is of the 1966 Eagle-Climax T2G Signed by Dan Gurney. The caption on the back of the postcard says: 'The Donnington collection has several GP cars which were the first to be built by their respective constructors. This is Dan Gurneys first ever F1 Eagle, powered by a 2.7 litre Coventry -Climax engine. In it he scored hisfirst world championship points for Eagle, in the French GP at Reims'.

Speedsport boss Mike O’Brien’s passion for motor sport racing and fine art have resulted in the long awaited opening of the Speedsport gallery located on the first floor of our Silverstone premises.

We have an incredibly varied selection of original paintings by artists such as Dexter Brown, Michael Turner, Walter Gotschke and Peter Hutton. We also have fabulous posters, original photographs and some amazing autographs from the best racing drivers in the history of the sport including Jim Clark, Mike Hawthorn, Jochen Rindt, Peter Collins, Stirling Moss, Piers Courage, Malcolm Campbell and many others. We are open Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm and at weekend by appointment and at most Silverstone race meetings, but please phone or email just to confirm we will be here.
