The Royal Crest sterling silver flatware company, according to our research, only produced three patterns, two in 1942 and one in 1948. One of these two patterns is the Castle Rose pattern of 1942. This was at a time that women loved roses and many, many sterling silver flatware producing companies put out a myriad of rose patterns. Roses represented elegance and wealth.
