Superlight weight Cable housing uses aluminum liner shell covered with Kevlar reinforced layer plus nano-technology DLC coated inner cable to create a perfect combination.
DLC coated SLICK stainless inner cable makes this cable ultra smooth, rust proof, sleek and reduce friction more than P.T.F.E coated ones. This high grade DLC coated inner cable (KCNC retail for USD 25/pc) with the coating on them is much more durable than the coating on standard Teflon cables that you find in other kits so they have the longevity advantage. Also, with the nano-technology, you don’t get coating scratching off and failing inside the housing like some other Teflon coated cables.
