• Are the lightings in IKEA beautiful? Yes, of course! However, that's not the only thing we want. It seems very hard to get a lighting featuring brilliant colors, smart rhythm, easy control and reasonable price. Well, we can make it ourselves now.

Above is the modification of IKEA's lighting "Kallt". Kallt comes with plastic optical fibers which transmit the light to the ball surface. What we've done was to replace the original LEDs    in the light with three 3W RGB LEDs, and install aRGBY 1*4 Way Lighting Color Display and an Audio Synchronized Color LED Driver, helping drive the LEDs and realize audio synchronization. The whole modification is easy to complete (refer to the user's guide). What we've finally gotten was an amazing fashionable Magic Kallt and also full sense of accomplishment. Powering it and accessing an audio signal, this Magic Kallt will show you awesome star-like colorful lighting effects.

Cool? Definitely! With Magic Kallt, you can make your room different, enjoy multi-dimension during listening to music or make your party wonderful. You can make your own Magic Kallt and send it to your family or friends as an excellent Christmas present.

This kit is a basic version of Lighting DIY Kits.
