Follow these simple checks to ensure that this screen is compatible with your laptop.
Although this screen is listed as being the model mentioned in this listing, laptop manufacturers have been known to use different screens over time for the same model. Because of this, it is better to follow these simple steps to guarantee compatibility.
1. Ensure your laptop screen is LCD.
This is evident by the fact that there are 2 connectors going to the screen. One for the data, and one for the backlight.
2. Check that your laptop screen size is 15.4", and has a resolution of 1280x800 (16:10 aspect ratio)
These screens are not compatible with 15.6" models and screens with a 16:9 aspect ratio or different resolution.
3. Check that your video cable has 30 pins, and is in the correct location (top right)
The number of pins on your LVDS/video cable must match, and you must ensure that your video cable will reach
