Boot and Nuke ("DBAN") is a self-contained boot DISC that securely

wipes the hard disks of most computers. DBAN will automatically and completely

delete the contents of any hard disk that it can detect, which makes it an

appropriate utility for bulk or emergency data destruction.

To use, boot your computer with the disc already in the disc drive. Your 1^st BOOT device must be the disc drive that the disc is in.

You will then get a DOS menu, just follow the instructions. Remember that once your disc has been erased you will not be able to recover any data.

To use this disc you will need to ensure that your computer is set to boot from the Disc drive that the disc is in. To do this, keep pressing one of the 'F' keys when your computer is starting. The screen will usually tell you which one. ( on some computers it is the 'DEL' key) This varies from Computer to computer. You will then access the BIOS, now look for the Boot Order and set it to the disc drive. Save & Exit and allow the computer to boot with the CD in.  REMEMBER THIS IS A BOOT DISC.
