This listing is for one of numerous vintage film negatives that I’m putting up for sale after years of selling reprint photographs of this scene on eBay and at antique shows all over New England.  . Put the image on a wedding invitation, mouse pad, a t-shirt, or a coffee mug. Make calendars, postcards, greeting cards, advertising media, or whatever. Great addition to a town’s historical society collection!

The image in this listing is from the Meade View postcard company, who sold real photo postcards of numerous Maine towns from the 1920's to the 1940's. What you see is exactly what the postcard looked like.

This view is of a whale head, used as a flower planter, at the Allen Cottages, Cape Porpoise, Maine, in the 1930's. Wonderful and rare scene, one of three whalebone Allen Cottage photos we have for sale.

Please note that we are selling the negative only, and are not purporting to sell any publication rights or copyrights.

Remember what you get when you "buy it now":

1. The original film negative, about 4x6", dating from the 1930's/40's.

 2. FREE SHIPPING in the U.S.

 3. Additionally, when you buy this negative, I will cease immediately to sell this image on eBay.
