I had never had the pleasure of seeing one of these in person before now! I had only seen these in pictures and in the hands of the Multi-Armed Deities I am so drawn to! This is exquisite! In case you haven't noticed, I am obsessed with carvings-especially stone carvings! I am amazed at how something so hard and rough can be rounded and smoothed into something like a bowl! This belongs in a place of worship or notoriety! Sculpted by a Master Carver out of Clear Quartz Crystal, this has been crafted into a Sacred Tibetan Buddhist Kapala or Skullcap Ritual Item! I could FEEL the energy of this piece across the room! Someone put their heart and soul into this...pulling upon Sacred Spiritual Powers while doing so! I immediately saw rainbows in the Quartz too! These Kapala's or Skullcap's were held to capture the blood of the conquests of the higher ranking Boddhisatva's-who would sometimes take these ferocious forms to attack the worst of the evil or ego in the world. These are symbolic Offering Bowls and remind me of Knowledge, Wisdom, and the Death that must occur for Rebirth into Enlightenment! This piece has an extremely high vibration that can be felt, even through the glass case! I love Quartz Crystals because they can pick up any Vibration and carry it, while also amplifying and boosting these energies! Therefore, if you Meditate on Peace...this Quartz will pick up the Vibe of Peace-amplifying and carrying it throughout the area! The Quartz Crystal is the center of this piece, with a base and top that are elaborately sculpted, resembling lotus petals! These are covered in fancy scrollwork and embellishments and smothered in 24 K Gold! This piece measures about 5 3/4 inches tall with the lid and 3 1/2 inches without. Alone the lid stands about 2 1/2 inches tall, but 1/4 inch of that is the lip that sits inside the bowl so the top is not as loose! The diameter is about 3 1/2 inches also! If I was independently wealthy, I would keep this just to share it's beauty and energy with the world! People who have never seen one of these are drawn like bees to honey!
