This woofer is a great replacement for many 4 ohm Polk Audio woofers.

Here is the list of woofer models and what cabinet models they go into:
- MW7000 : Goes into S4, S6 and more.
- MW7002 : Goes into 3000 II, 4000, 5000 Sub, 5000 II Sub and more.  These models are from the mid 1990's, not current models.
- MW7009 : Goes into RT5, RT8, RT20 and more.

PLEASE READ:  The unique size 7″ Polk woofers have been discontinued, so we had these custom made for us designed from the Polk Audio woofers.  These are new current production stock.  The parameters were closely copied to ensure similar output level and sound. In comparison to the original, it is very close. Overall, it is a great reproduction for many of the Polk Audio 7″ woofers. It is a perfect drop in fit with no modification needed to the cabinet. The screw holes match up perfect. This unique aftermarket woofer has a steel basket, polypropylene injected cone, butyl rubber surround, 1.5″ dust cap, a standard ferrite non-shielded magnet and a new foam gasket for a proper seal to the cabinet.  Our woofer does not have a shielded magnet.  Some Polk models like the MW7009 have a shielded magnet, but a shielded magnet only matters if it is near an old tube style TV or monitor.
