This specific design of escrima fighting gloves have been tried and tested and are widely used in The Phillippines the home of FMA and Arnis

The hand gloves serves as hand protection from stick strikes during full contact sparring or class training. The gloves open palm design ensure that whilst holding sticks a strong stable grip is maintained and to erase the restrictive feeling from full fingered gloves.
