The pattern name is Fruits & Flowers by Herend Porcelain of Hungary. This hand painted pattern was introduced at the turn of the 20th Century, and a complete service was ordered by the Russian Tsar at the St. Petersburg Exposition. It is still in production today. This listing was part of a large vintage service from a Palm Beach Florida Estate. The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, breaks or crazing. It appears unused, and was most likely used for display only.
There are a total of 12 different motifs of Fruits and Flowers in the center of the plates. The Motif numbers are specified by Herend and taken directly from the Herend Catalog. Herend is completely hand painted and the artist is given free license to choose the quantity, colors and placement of the small clusters which surround the center motif. This ensures that no 2 pieces are ever identical and each is an individual work of art.
Herend sizes are estimates, and actual sizes may vary slightly from piece to piece.
Each piece carries the Herend back stamps, which may vary depending on when the piece was produced. An example is pictured.

The majority of my listings are vintage estate pieces or department store excess inventory. Light scratches from normal use or storage may be present on some pieces. My inventory will never have chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, breaks or other flaws unless specifically and clearly called out in the listing description. I handle hundreds of pieces, so on the unlikely chance a flaw escapes my inspection, please contact me and I will correct the situation.
I often have items that are in mint condition: new, unused, or still in the original boxes. These details will be noted in the item description.
PAYMENT:
I accept only Pay Pal. Payment is expected within 3 days of the completion of the listing. FL residents are required to pay 7% sales tax.
RETURNS:
You can buy with confidence. If for any reason you feel an item does not meet with your expectations, contact me to let me know what the problem is, and you may return it for a full refund within 14 days of receipt. Buyer pays return shipping. If free shipping was offered on the item, shipping cost will be deducted from the purchase price prior to refund. The item must be properly packed and returned in the same condition as shipped. You must contact me prior to any returns.
