This listing is for various brands of Easton Road & Mountain Bike Hubs.

Important Note!!! I can't stress enough how important it is to get your hub model correct. If in doubt please check with us before ordering.......Easton have so many variants. Their product manuals (link below) page is very helpful.
The bearings we send out will be as Easton's Manuals so check compatibility.
It's the buyer's responsibility to check this before ordering!

Multiple Items!!: Please add all items (from any listing in our shop) to your basket & pay for in one single transaction. This will help us to speed up processing your order. For International orders this will also combine purchase costs saving time & money......THANKS!!!

Each hub kit contains 2 x sealed cartridge bearings. (1 x Drive Side & 1 x Non Drive Side unless stated otherwise).

These bearings are specifically for the hub alone. Due to the vast combinations of freehubs used with these hubs we cannot list bearings to service the freehub as well. The shimano & campagnolo units tend to be a sealed unit which is wholly replaceable, however, if your hub takes removable sealed cartridge bearings that you need to replace please let us know & we should have these in stock.
The M1 Cassette Body Bearings (2 Types) are listed separately as 2 bearings (2 x 6803 or 2x 17287), please check which type yours takes (remove cassette lock ring & dust cover to reveal bearing & code will be stamped on seal, inside & outside bearings will be identical).
The 17287 bearing we supply with the kits (inc. those marked stainless steel) is a high quality steel bearing.

The X1 Rear Hub contains all 4 x Bearings for cassette body as well.

EA50 SL Front x 2 - These will be 2 x 6901-2RS bearings. Order the R6 option if this is what you need!

Our Bearings Range!!

Chrome Steel (ABEC 1):- Great value for money sealed cartridge bearing. Hardened Chromium Steel balls in a steel cage with a generous grease fill.

Looked after with regular greasing & avoid pressure washers & solvent cleaners they will last well in normal off road riding conditions.

Stainless Steel (ABEC 1):- Great resistance to corrosion in harsh wet riding conditions. Grade 440C Stainless Steel balls in Stainless Steel cage & races.

Grade 440C stainless steels are high carbon steels, which attain the highest hardness, wear resistance and strength of all stainless steel grades after heat treatment. These properties make this grade suitable for applications such as valve components and ball bearings.

Very hard wearing with a high grease fill.

Hybrid Ceramic (ABEC 3):- These sealed cartridge bearings comprise of ZrO2 Zirconium Oxide (Ceramic) balls with nylon, low friction cages & stainless steel races. The ZrO2 ceramic balls have a much higher strength than steel, they are much smoother, therefore, produce less friction than steel thus having a higher speed limit. The 17287-2RS bearings are Si3N4 Ceramic Balls with chrome steel races. They are also lighter requiring less centrifugal force enhancing limit speed. They have a much higher temperature limit & far greater lifespan. They can run effectively with very little grease, reducing friction even further. Both ceramic & stainless are corrosion resistant. The ceramic balls can also resist chemical attack from acid, alkali & salt. The advantages of hybrid ceramic sealed cartridge bearings & high production costs are reflected in their price. A must for the DIE HARD racer!!

The list is by no means exhaustive, the Easton list seems endless, so if you don't see your brand or year of hub please contact me & I will check the correct specs. & I should have them in stock.

These kits don't contain any other hardware, just bearings. You will need to contact an Easton distributor for genuine hardware (washers, axles, etc).

Important Note: It's always a good idea to include a note with your order just to confirm your exact hub specification, that way we can ensure your order is correct. We're always updating our listings following feedback from our customers!! Just let us know the make & year.

Please Note: Look after your bearings regularly, keep everything well greased, avoid pressure washing at all costs & avoid using solvent based sprays & lubricants around your bearings, as these dissolve the grease in the bearings!!

Cut & paste the link below into your browser for how to videos. We have the Woodruff keys for sale that the Easton demo shows being used to punch the hub bearings.

The wheel size shouldn't have an effect on the hub bearings but for piece of mind if you tell me your specification of hub I will check to ensure you get the correct bearings in your order.
