It is possible that your dog may be able to fit in more than one size.  The weight of 9 lbs is just for reference only.  As we know, every dog is different. This cart will fit most of the ultra small dogs that are less than 9 lbs,

It has roller blade wheels with bearings, padded shoulder support, double thronged neoprene adjustable shoulder harness, and built in double rear adjustable padded leg stirrups. Both male and female dogs can still go to the bathroom comfortably in this rear harness.
