Good value deep section alloy wheelset for race, training or general road riding. 

Kinlin XR300 deep light alloy rims. 24/28 spokes. Rim brake only. Gloss black finish with machined brake tracks. Suitable for tyre sizes between 19mm and 28mm. 6.5mm valve hole suitable for Presta valve tubes.  Suitable for riders up to 95kg.

The Kinlin XR300 rims are good looking, sturdy and have decent aero qualities. The decals are removable, if desired, with a bit of warming with a hair dryer which leaves a plain black rim.

Hubs are the really light Novatec A291SB and F482SB in black. or Miche Primato depending on rider weight. Road bike standard 100mm wide front hub and 130mm wide rear hub. Suitable for 11 speed Shimano/SRAM road and 8,9 and 10 speed Shimano/SRAM cassettes with the supplied spacer. The hubs contain high quality Japanese made EZO sealed bearings which are light and very free running. These are easily replaced when worn with simple hand tools.

The spokes are high quality Belgian made silver Sapim Race 2.0/1.8/2.0 double butted. Double butted spokes are both lighter and stronger for their diameter than standard plain gauge spokes. Made from 100% stainless steel and fastened with silver brass nipples. 

The 24 spoke front wheel is laced in a Radial pattern for minimum weight and improved aerodynamics. The 28 spoke rear wheel is built with a 2X pattern for strength. T

Total wheelset weight is a very respectable 1580g.

Sapim Laser lightweight round spokes with silver alloy nipples, saving 110-120g +£30 silver or £50 black (not recommended for riders over 75kg)

Sapim D-Light spokes with silver alloy nipples  saving 70-80g - +£25 silver or £45 black

Alloy spoke nipples (silver) with Race spokes 35-40g - +£10

Coloured alloy spoke nipples (black, red, gold, blue, green,purple) +£18

Miche Primato hubs - recommended for heavier riders - same price

All our wheels are handbuilt to order to the same high standards. Race wheels are true to +or- 0.2mm and spokes uniformly tensioned to within 5% a side. At peak demand periods, despatch may be up to 8-10 days.
