Automatic Transmission Fluid Level Dipstick Tool for Mercedes Benz / Sprinter w/ Locking Pin & Seal

Specifically designed to check automatic transmission fluid level on MBZ vehicles that came without a transmission dipstick.

Replaces: MERCEDES part numbers: 140-589-15-21, 140-589-15-21-00, 1405891521, 140589152100es.

Unlike a conventional dipstick that stays in the tube, this dipstick is just used for checking the fluid level and then removed and the cap put back on the tube. As with the dealer tool, it is not designed to be left in vehicle.

Because the dipstick is used to check the fluid level across many Years and Models, it will be longer than the tube itself.

There is not a "permanent" dipstick for the models that come without a dipstick. This is the same tool the technicians and dealerships use to check fluid level.
