Soaks up oils and fuels in the bilge and clean water is pumped overboard. Simply tie the cord, supplied, to a convenient point to keep it in place and away from the bilge pump.

These UK made oil bilge booms are fitted with eyelets to enable cord or rope to be attached. The extra length of these 50cm bilge booms means that a greater surface are is covered from one position. oil can be wicked faster than the US made 15inch booms. There is no netting to get snagged on engine bay components and the slim-line design lets the boom be placed into tight spots. Exceptionally versatile boom filled with polypropylene absorbent and strong spunbound outer has the potential to be put to use inside or outdoors, in the wet or dry.
