N.B. You are purchasing ONE cushion cover. I have four of this type of cover for sale here - and also a different listing with another four covers using the same fronts, but backed with a beige ribbed silk instead of the velvet - see my other listings. The photo (after the one with my hand showing the zip) shows the silk back on the left and the more silvery velvet on the right. Within Australia, no extra postage charged if you buy more covers.
COLOURS - These cushions are unusual because I have combined a Silk chiffon which has a silvery green colour, and laid it over a more vivid yellowy green silk. Therefore in some lights it looks grey-green or sage green, but in other lighting it has a slightly more yellowy green tone. Very hard to described and to photograph - but absolutely stunning in person!
N.B. The velvet used for the backing has some small crease marks and minor indentations which have not come out with ironing. The creases will probably drop out over time, but to be fair, I have discounted the price of these cushions by $5 each compared to my other silk backed ones.
After a lifetime of decorating projects, I am now disposing of my stock of gorgeous fabrics by making up cushions. All cushion covers are pattern matched, double stitched for strength, and finished with a concealed zipper at the base. All are made with expensive high-quality furnishing fabrics & trims, most were imported to Australia from the USA. Many were originally from European fabric houses and were usually well over $100 metre. I cannot obtain any more of these fabrics – so get in first to buy a unique decorator piece that you will not find in the shops, at a fraction of the cost you'd expect to pay retail.
Cushion inserts
For ease of posting, I do not supply cushion inserts with the covers. You can purchase appropriate foam inserts on eBay, or at a craft or homewares store. For a more sumptuous look, I recommend spending a little more on feather inserts.
Care Instructions
As these made from are expensive upholstery fabrics and/or silks, they should not be washed. Dry clean only.
Combined Postage
I am happy to combine postage at the Australia Post rates. Within Australia, if too bulky for letter post, items will be sent in prepaid postbags, which are tracked.
