 8 1/2 by 5 5/8" in yellow-green linen weave cloth hardcover, with contrasting black on the spine, 312 pages with colored pastel frontispiece illustration by Jean Charlot and six other full page illustrations. Noted personalities of the1950s such as Thomas Merton, Evelyn Waugh and Wyndham Lewis, were asked to contribute essays on their favorite saints, with drawings included by such notable artist such as Salvador Dali, and including two line drawings of SS John of the Cross and Therese of Lisieux by Thomas Merton, (see photo #6) .

Condition of the book graded Fine to Very Fine, ex libris Redemptorist Nuns bookplate pasted on inside front cover only, interior is fresh, very clean and unmarked- a collectible vintage book in Spiritual Biography.
