Hobbywing  3A 5 volt UBEC. Power your Raspberry Pi from a battery pack or car.
  • Voltage converter. Efficient unit, generates hardly any heat. Input DC 13-7.5 volt, outputs 5 volt.
  • 2x IDC male to female GPIO cables
We've tested this running OpenELEC media centre from 8x AA batteries, playing BBC iPlayer for an hour, and it didn't crash or glitch once. Normally you'll be running headless and using much less juice.

You can also run a Raspberry Pi A+ board from a rechargeable 9V duracell battery for around an hour (2nd photo - command line, no keyboard or screen attached).

Comes with a useful free GPIO pin reference card for the Pi (printed on the back of our business card). White wire on UBEC is left disconnected when powering a Pi.

Doesn't include a Raspberry Pi or battery pack.

UK 24 hour postage is £1. Just order before 1pm Monday-Friday and you should get it the next working day, if you're in the UK.

Price includes VAT, receipt provided.
