Description: Thick heavy hardback book published by Carcosa in 1975. No statement of edition or printing but bibliographic sources say only one printing of this book was done, of which 615 copies were issued with a bookplate on the front endpaper signed by the author and artist. This is one of those 615 copies. Bookplate signed by the author and illustrator without inscription or personalization applied to the original front endpaper. This copy has been rebound in red goat skin leather with marbled endpapers and a satin ribbon bookmark. The bookbinder duplicated the look of the original spine in gold, including the image of the dancing girl (one of the illustrations in the book) and the publisher's emblem. The top and bottom page edges were shaved to remove soiling. This book is 589 pages and contains 30+ full page illustrations was well as numerous decorative partial page illustrations. This book was nominated for a 1976 World Fantasy Award.

Synopsis: Far Lands, Other Days is a collection of fantasy, horror and mystery short stories by author E. Hoffmann Price. It was released in 1975 by Carcosa in an edition of 2,593 copies of which 615 copies, that were pre-ordered, were signed by the author and artist. The stories originally appeared in the magazines Weird Tales, Strange Detective Stories, Spicy-Adventure Stories, Golden Fleece, Argosy, Spicy Mystery Stories, Strange Stories, Short Stories, Terror Tales and Speed Mystery.

Condition: Binding - fine, rebound in red goat skin leather with gold spine lettering and decorations, marbled endpapers, very slight soiling of the side page edges, otherwise like new. Dust Jacket - near fine, minor edgewear and wrinkling, slight rubbing, not price clipped, in dust jacket protector.
