Beginning in 1972, the USPS has issued a "Souvenir Page" of each of its stamp issues. A Souvenir Page is an 8 inch X 10.5 inch sheet, on color paper, that describes the stamp issue and also features the stamp itself and its First Day of Issue cancellation. Collectors find these souvenir pages highly desirable, and even suitable for framing.

These 5 souvenir pages celebrate the World Stamp Expo of 1989 in grand fashion. The USPS put out three souvenir sheets - one for the Expo itself, one with classic mail delivery systems (steamships, horses) of the past, and one with those to be expected in the future (spacecraft and the like). They also released two normal sheets of stamps, and all 5 issues are here in this set.

The 5 sheets are:

World Stamp Expo '89 Souvenir Sheet (Scott 2433)
Classic Mail Transportation Commemorative Stamps (Scott 2434 to 2437)
Classic Mail Transportation Souvenir Sheet (Scott 2438)
Future Mail Transportation Airmail Stamps (Scott C122 to C125)
Future Mail Transportation Airmail Souvenir Sheet (Scott C126)

All have First Day of Issue cancels between November 17 and November 28, 1989. This set would make a great addition to any FDC collection!
