RESURRECTIONbeauty Serum Recipes

Note: Serum recipes should be shaken in a covered container for best mixing results.  Agitation is needed to dissolve the powder.  Stirring will not work well!

Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) Serum with 20% Glycerin

5% solution

1/8 tsp Ascorbic acid powder 

1 7/8 tsp water or Witch hazel

1/2 tsp RESURRECTIONbeauty Glycerin w/ Botanical Extracts 

10% solution 

1/4 tsp Ascorbic acid powder  

1 3/4 tsp water or Witch hazel

1/2 tsp RESURRECTIONbeauty Glycerin w/ Botanical Extracts 

15% solution

3/8 tsp Ascorbic acid powder  

1 5/8 tsp water or Witch hazel

1/2 tsp RESURRECTIONbeauty Glycerin w/ Botanical Extracts 

20% solution 

1/2 tsp Ascorbic acid powder  

1 1/2 tsp water  

1/2 tsp RESURRECTIONbeauty Glycerin w/ Botanical Extracts 

Directions:

1.)  Add water (or Witch hazel) and Ascorbic acid to your CLEAN and DRY 1 oz. Amber Glass Treatment Bottle.  Shake it until the powder is completely dissolved.  (For 20% solutions, this may take up to 4 minutes.  Taking breaks is acceptable!)

2.)  When completely dissolved, add Glycerin with Botanical Extracts and shake to mix.  

3.)  Product can be used immediately on the face or anywhere on the body where benefits are desired! (Discard any unused mixture once it has begun to turn a yellow color (about 5-7 days) and wash bottle and pump thoroughly with soap and water before next use.) 

This powder should be dissolved in water or witch hazel FIRST before adding other ingredients or adding to other products. This powder will not dissolve in oil based ingredients or products.  

To customize, try adding a few drops of RESURRECTIONbeauty’s essential oils to add fragrance and additional skin care/anti-aging benefits!  

Modifications:  

-This recipe can be made with water only by substituting water for the amount of glycerin in the recipe.  

-If the 20% glycerin feels too sticky for your liking, you can reduce the concentration to 10%.  To do this, reduce to 1/4 tsp glycerin but then add the other 1/4 tsp as water (or witch hazel) back into the recipe.  This will keep the concentration of Ascorbic Acid the same.  

Hyaluronic Acid Serum

1/4 tsp  Glycerin with Botanical Extracts 

?1/4 tsp Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid Powder) 

Distilled water or Witch Hazel to fill to 30 ml

Directions:

1.)  Add Glycerin to the CLEAN and DRY 1 oz. Amber Glass Treatment Pump.

2.)  Add the Sodium Hyaluronate powder to the 1 oz Amber Glass Treatment Pump bottle. 

3.)  Mix the two very well with the stem of the treatment pump cap. 

4.)  Fill with the water or Witch Hazel to just below the neck of the bottle. 

5.)  Mix well with the stem of the pump cap, attach treatment pump cap and shake. 

6.)  Shake occasionally and let sit for about 4 hours or until all of the powder has absorbed into the liquid to form a gel.  Additional mixing and shaking may be necessary throughout the process.  

To customize, add RESURRECTIONbeauty’s essential oils and shake well.  

This mixture should be discarded after 5-7 days.

Vitamin C (20%) and Hyaluronic Acid Serum Combo

1/4 tsp Glycerin with Botanical Extracts 

1/4 tsp Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid Powder) 

1 1/2 tsp Vitamin C Powder (L-Ascorbic Acid)

Distilled water or Witch Hazel

Directions:

1.) Add Glycerin to the CLEAN and DRY 1 oz. Amber Glass Treatment Pump.

2.) Add the Sodium Hyaluronate powder to the 1 oz Amber Glass Treatment Pump bottle. 

3.) Mix the two very well with the stem of the treatment pump cap.

4.)  Add the Vitamin C powder.

5.)  Stir the mixture well.  (This will not be smooth.)

6.) Fill with the water or Witch Hazel to just below the neck of the bottle. 

7.) Mix well with the stem of the pump cap, attach treatment pump cap and shake. 

8.) Shake occasionally and let sit for about 4 hours or until all of the powder has absorbed into the liquid to form a gel. Additional mixing and shaking may be necessary throughout the process.  

To customize, add RESURRECTIONbeauty’s essential oils and shake well.  

This mixture should be discarded after 5-7 days or when it begins to oxidize (turn yellow).

Note:  If the stem of your treatment pump becomes clogged due to mixing, simply remove it and rinse it under warm water.  If it is still clogged, pump it while under water and that should do the trick!
