Our brushes are made with the grade of carbon that was originally specified by the OEM for the particular application. Why is the grade important? Because the grade chosen is dictated by the speed of the motor; e.g. high speed motors on up-market machines are usually a higher grade.
Nearly all our brushes are laminated. (Some of our competitors are still using block carbon). Why is the lamination important? Because it actually disperses the heat which is created by motor operation, thus preventing arcing and early burn-out.
