This cover, created with care and attention to detail by the Postal Commemorative Society, celebrates this country's victory in World War I.  This cover shows an enlarged reproduction of the 3-cent stamp (Scott number 537) with Lady Liberty surrounded by the flags of the Allies; it also includes a bright, shiny gold-coated metallic replica of the stamp on a blue background.  The metal stamp replica is coated with a very thin veneer of 22K gold, and makes for an incredibly attractive cover.  The cover is fresh, clean, and unaddressed, with its first day of issue date where the address would normally be. This is a great way to own a piece of history!

This was the first US stamp issued to celebrate victory in wartime.
