Thermostat housing with part number PEL500110 fits to the Discovery 2 V8 model 

and Freelander 1 with the 1.8 petrol engines.

This is a remote thermostat in its own housing fitting between the hoses rather than directly in to the engine. 

It is for later model vehicles but can be retro fitted to earlier ones so that they run cooler.

This thermostat is designed for the Discovery 2 Td5 and also fits the V8 North American models. 

It keeps operating temperatures lower than the factory thermostat to help prevent engine damage. 

This is one of the most popular upgrades you can quickly do to reduce engine temperatures in your Discovery 2.

The thermostat regulates your Land Rover's operating temperate by restricting the flow of coolant from the engine back
