You decide the smoking time, the Smoke Ring Cold Smoker is dual sided. One side provides from 4 to 8 hrs of smoking and the other side provides 2 to 3 hrs of smoke. Normally it is for the first 2 to 3 hrs that smoke is applied or when the desired color is reached on your meat. Easy to light with a propane torch or my favorite, a heat gun. The Smoke Ring Smoker size is an 8" circle, 2" high, and will hold up to one pound of pellets. It can be lit from any side. We think outside the box.
