This is a complete kit for professionally replacing a pair of surrounds on all AR Speakers that utilize the AR 12 inch woofers. This includes the AR-3a,  AR- 11, AR-10PI, AR-LST and AR 9.

• Not a generic surround kit.
• These are the correct surrounds. Too stiff and you will loose the deep base notes. Too small of a roll, you wont achieve the correct loudness.
• Assembled from components selected over the years while replacing the surrounds on many, many AR speaker drivers. The components and detailed instructions selected explicitly for Acoustic Research speaker drivers.
• Includes; a pair of foam surrounds, a set of shims for centering the voice coil (If not, you risk a voice coil rub when finished.), a container of adhesive (It is strong, fast drying and dries clear.), an adhesive applicator bottle, a pair of dust covers that you literally drop in place when done and a step-by-step set of instructions.
• You may find the cabinet sealer in department OTHER SPEAKER SERVICE PARTS(don't try and reuse that old, dried up sealer that's there, a sealed cabinet is key to those low bass notes.) We also have foam gasket material for later models.
• Yes, we do offer a Surrounds Replacement Service.

Now would also be a good time to replace those troublesome level controls, on older models, with superior, life time guaranteed, controls from VINTAGE-AR. These can be found in department LEVEL CONTROLS. You've removed the grille and woofer and are more than half the way there. Oh, this recent AR-10PI restoration is not included with the kit!
