Each dress has a slight flaw, for example, a tiny mark (like a dot) on it somewhere, or a slight fabric flaw. Most of the faults are not noticeable or hardly noticeable. Some of the dresses have been snagged in a spot, resulting in a tiny hole which can be repaired with hand stitches in matching thread.

Note: the actual dress cloud is a lovely soft warm gold, not as bright as most of the photos. There is one photo that is taken in a different place that is closer to the actual colour, though how it appears to you obviously depends on your screen colour calibration.
