This is a handcrafted silver plated bracelet from Taxco the silver capitol of Mexico. It is a dragonfly made of natural Abalone shell.

The dragonfly is 1-¼ inches tall and 1-½ inches wide. The bracelet is 7-½" inches around, including the 1-½ inch opening. It can be carefully adjusted to be smaller or larger.

The dragonfly can make amazing changes of direction and glides through the air with no apparent effort. It inspires us to be flexible and adaptable in any situation. Call on the spirit of the dragonfly when you are stuck or need a new perspective.

Silver plating is electroplated with 100% pure silver. Sterling silver is only 92.5% silver and the remainder can be any metal.

From time to time people ask, “How do I know this piece comes from Taxco, Mexico?” Here is my answer: Since the year 2000, I have traveled to Taxco, Mexico twice a year to buy jewelry for Silver Dream. I can tell you the flights and buses I take to get there :)
